Description:

(+)-Dehydrodiconiferyl alcohol is a hydrophobic flavonoid that has been shown to inhibit the activity of phosphatases. It also inhibits the degranulation of mast cells and the release of inflammatory cells. In addition, the enantiomers of (+)-dehydrodiconiferyl alcohol have been shown to have different inhibitory activities against phosphatase. The (+) form is more potent than the (-) form in inhibiting phosphatase activity and degranulation. This compound has also been shown to have radical scavenging activity and hepatoprotective properties.
