(R)-3,3'-Dibromo-1,1'-bi-2-naphthol is an aromatic hydrocarbon that is chiral. It has been used as a reagent in organic synthesis and as a fluorescent labeling agent for HPLC analysis. (R)-3,3'-Dibromo-1,1'-bi-2-naphthol has also been used to synthesize biphenyls. (R)-3,3'-Dibromo-1,1'-bi-2-naphthol can be found in natural products such as flavanones and styrene.
