Daphnetin is a coumarin derivative that has been shown to have reactive properties. Daphnetin has been found to interact with the pathogenic mechanism of a number of infectious diseases, including tuberculosis, malaria, and leishmaniasis. It inhibits energy metabolism in the cell by binding to dextran sulfate, which is an important component of the cell's energy-synthesis process. Daphnetin may also bind to DNA as a competitive inhibitor of polymerase chain reaction (PCR) amplification. End product: 6-Fluoro-3-indoxyl-beta-D-galactopyranoside is an antituberculosis drug that belongs to the class of rifamycins. It is the most active of the rifamycins for the treatment of tuberculosis. Rifapentine inhibits bacterial growth by binding to DNA-dependent RNA polymerase, thereby preventing transcription and replication. The high frequency of human
