Description:
AZD 1152 is a bicyclic heterocycle that has anti-cancer properties. It inhibits the mitochondrial membrane potential and induces cell death in cancer cells by lowering the pro-apoptotic protein. AZD 1152 also inhibits the transporter protein P-glycoprotein (P-gp) and acts as a potential biomarker for drug resistance in cancer cells. This compound has been shown to inhibit xenograft tumor growth in mice, with no reported side effects.
