Description:

Furan-2-boronic acid is a reaction intermediate in the Suzuki coupling reaction, which is a cross-coupling reaction between an organoboron compound and an organic electrophile. Furan-2-boronic acid can be used as a chiral auxiliary to generate optically pure products.
