Description:

Clascoterone is a non-steroidal anti-inflammatory drug that is used to treat inflammatory diseases, such as asthma and psoriasis. Clascoterone inhibits prostaglandin synthesis by blocking the enzyme cyclooxygenase (COX). Clascoterone has been shown to be effective in clinical trials for the treatment of asthma and inflammatory skin conditions. It has also been shown to be effective in treating inflammatory lesions associated with human liver disease. In addition, clascoterone may have a role in repairing damaged DNA.
