Mirodenafil dihydrochloride is a drug that has been approved for the treatment of erectile dysfunction. It is a phosphodiesterase type 5 inhibitor, inhibiting the enzyme responsible for degrading cGMP. Mirodenafil dihydrochloride has been shown to be an effective treatment for erectile dysfunction in patients with diabetes mellitus, hepatic steatosis, or other diseases that impair the body’s ability to produce nitric oxide. Mirodenafil dihydrochloride has been found to inhibit the production of pro-inflammatory cytokines in human serum and inhibitory properties against autoimmune diseases.
