Paroxetine has been used for the treatment of depression, anxiety disorders, post-traumatic stress disorder, premenstrual dysphoric disorder and obsessive-compulsive disorder. Also inhibits nitric oxide synthase and cytochrome isoenzyme P450 2D6.
