Description

2',4',6',3,4-Pentahydroxydihydrochalcone is a diphenolase inhibitor that has high values for plant families. It is also a natural compound with an acetylcholinesterase inhibitory activity. 2',4',6',3,4-Pentahydroxydihydrochalcone has shown synergic effect when combined with other compounds to scavenge anion radicals. The molecular modeling study of this molecule showed that the hydroxyl group of this molecule can interact with different parts of the protein and lead to inhibition of the enzyme's function.
