Description

Pinocembrin is a natural product that has been shown to have anti-inflammatory and antimicrobial properties. It is a cyclase inhibitor that has been shown to have effects on the mitochondrial membrane potential, the production of reactive oxygen species, and the expression of toll-like receptors in vitro. Pinocembrin has also been shown to inhibit prostate cancer cell proliferation, as well as chronic pulmonary inflammation in animal models. Pinocembrin is found in Curcuma aromatica plant.
