Senecivernine N-oxide is a metabolite of the alkaloid senecivernine. Senecivernine N-oxide is found in humans and the plant Aspalathus linearis. The analytical method for this compound has been established using LC-MS/MS. Retronecine, retrorsine, and intermedine are metabolites of senecivernine that have also been identified using LC-MS/MS.
