Description

1,3,5-Tris(p-formylphenyl)benzene is a chemical compound that has been synthesized from the reaction of 1,3,5-trimethylbenzene and formaldehyde. It is also a byproduct of the synthesis of other compounds such as fluoroquinolones and pesticides. The physical properties of 1,3,5-tris(p-formylphenyl)benzene are similar to those for other benzene derivatives. The compound can be used in plasma samples and wastewater treatment to remove fluoroquinolones and pesticides. It has been shown to have electron deficient properties and when reacted with imines it produces monoimines or diimines depending on the reactants.
