Description:
Temozolomide acid is a cytotoxic anticancer compound that has been shown to inhibit the growth of cancer cells in vitro. It is an acid, which may be hydrolyzed by enzymes in the skin, so it should not be used for external application. Temozolomide acid has been shown to show anti-cancer activity against primary cells and tumour cells, but not normal cells. This may be due to its ability to inhibit the action of growth factors on integrin receptors found on tumor cells.
