Product Information
Chlorahololide C is a polycyclic compound that blocks the potassium channel. It is a competitive antagonist for the potassium channels, which are responsible for regulating the flow of potassium ions into and out of cells. This drug has been shown to have rectifier properties and can be used as an antidote for poisoning by exogenous catechols. Chlorahololide C belongs to the class of sesquiterpenoids and it has been shown in spectroscopic methods to exist as dimers and polymers in chloranthus leaves. The configuration of these molecules is unknown, but they are thought to be linear with two rings or three rings.
