Product Information

Name:
Rinvanil
Description:

Rinvanil is a drug that has been shown to stimulate the energy metabolism of cells, which leads to an increase in ATP production. This drug also has neuroprotective effects and can be used for the treatment of diabetic neuropathy. Rinvanil stimulates neuronal death by activating TRPV1 receptors, which are involved in sensing heat and other stimuli. There is also evidence that this drug may activate autophagy in neurons, which may lead to an improvement of brain functions. Rinvanil has been observed to have calcium binding properties and can lead to a build-up of Ca2+ ions when taken at high doses. It is not known if this drug is toxic for humans, but it has been observed to be toxic for mice given a high dose (400 mg/kg) intraperitoneally.
