Lin28 1632 is a small non-coding RNA molecule that has been shown to synergize with metformin in the treatment of cancer stem cells. This RNA molecule binds to acceptor molecules in the cell, which may be involved in drug metabolism or gene regulation. Lin28 1632 has also been shown to inhibit tumor growth by inhibiting the production of rRNA and protein synthesis. It has also been shown to have an anti-tumor effect on xenograft tumor models in mice.
