Product Information
MI-1061 is a synthetic, non-peptide bromodomain inhibitor that has been shown to have potent antiproliferative effects in vitro and in vivo. It has been shown to inhibit the growth of cancer cells by interfering with the expression of genes involved in DNA replication and repair. MI-1061 also inhibits the synthesis of proteins by preventing the binding of aminoacyl tRNA to its corresponding mRNA codon on ribosomes. This compound has been shown to be effective against a range of cancers, including breast cancer, lung cancer, prostate cancer, and colon cancer. The anticancer activity is believed to be due to structural modifications that affect how translation is terminated.
