Malvidin 3,5-diglucoside is a type of flavonoid that has been shown to have inhibitory properties against HL-60 cells. It is a compound found in the plant species Pueraria lobata and other plants. The physiological levels of malvidin 3,5-diglucoside have been shown to suppress the growth of mouse tumor cells in vitro. Malvidin 3,5-diglucoside has also been shown to inhibit the activity of toll-like receptor 4 (TLR4) and toll-like receptor 9 (TLR9) in human monocytes. Malvidin 3,5-diglucoside can be used as an analytical method for determining anthocyanins content in wine grapes. This flavonoid has also been shown to inhibit enzyme activities such as cyclooxygenase and lipoxygenase, which are enzymes that catalyze the conversion of arachidonic acid into prost
