Product Information

Name:
Deoxyribonucleic acid low molecular weight from salmon sperm
Synonyms:
  • DNA
  • Deoxyribonucleic acids, fish sperm
Description:

The DNA low molecular weight from salmon sperm is a deoxyribonucleic acid (DNA) fragment that is extracted from wastewater. It has been shown to be an effective indicator of the presence of guanine in urine samples, and can be used to detect lipoperoxidation in animal hemocytes. The DNA low molecular weight from salmon sperm has also been shown to be a sublethal oxidative stress agent for human urine, which induces irreversible oxidation in the enzyme activities of signal detection. This product is commonly used as an environmental pollutant indicator and can be used as an effective wastewater treatment method.
