Evt-101 is a peptide that binds to the ion channel TRPV1 and has been shown to activate it. Evt-101 is also a ligand of the β2 adrenergic receptor. It is an antagonist of the angiotensin II type 1 receptor, which is used as a research tool for studying protein interactions, in pharmacology for studying the effects of drugs on proteins and in cell biology for studying protein-protein interactions. Evt-101 can be used to study protein interactions as well as antibody binding. Its high purity and low cost make it useful for research purposes.
