Product Information
DT2216 is a molecule that inhibits the ubiquitin-proteasome system (UPS) and regulates protein levels. DT2216 has been shown to have potent antitumor activity in animal models of cancer, including breast, colon, and lung cancers. This drug has also been shown to inhibit the growth of leukemia cells and t-cell lymphomas in cell culture. The mechanism of action appears to be related to the ability of DT2216 to impair the function of cytosolic protein kinase C (PKC), which is involved in tumor cell proliferation and survival. DT2216 has been found to synergize with other drugs used for cancer treatment such as vincristine, carboplatin, paclitaxel, cisplatin, tamoxifen, or docetaxel.
