The chemical structure consists of four cyclic rings, two benzene rings, one pyridine ring, and one bromine group. This product is used as an additive to tetraethylammonium hydroxide solutions in order to reduce viscosity and increase hydration rates at lower temperatures, making it easier to produce products such as adhesives and sealants that require low viscosity at high temperature. 5-Azoniaspiro[4.4]nonane Bromide is soluble in water and organic solvents such as acetonitrile or alcohols, which are added as additives in these formulations.
