GNF-6231 has been shown to inhibit colorectal carcinoma growth and metastasis, as well as induce cardiac and ventricular dysfunction in mice. It also inhibits hepatocellular carcinoma growth and metastasis in mice. The drug can be used to treat cancer by inhibiting the progression of cancer cells. This drug has been shown to be effective against monoclonal antibodies against β-catenin, including cetuximab, which is used to treat colorectal carcinoma.
