M-110 is a potent inhibitor of the tyrosine kinase family, targeting the phosphorylation of the epidermal growth factor receptor (EGFR) and insulin receptor. It inhibits the proliferation of prostate cancer cells by downregulating protein kinase activity. M-110 has also been shown to inhibit the serine/threonine kinases PIM-1 and c-Abl in prostate cancer cells, which are involved in cell survival. M-110 may be used as a potential therapeutic agent for prostate cancer.
