Ifn alpha-ifnar-in-1 hydrochloride is an immunoglobulin that has been found to be effective in the treatment of thrombocytopenia. It is a monoclonal antibody that binds to the CD28 receptor, which is expressed on activated T cells and macrophages. This binding activates T cells and macrophages, which then release cytokines that stimulate B cell production of IgM antibodies. Ifn alpha-ifnar-in-1 hydrochloride can also be used to treat pancreatitis. It has been shown to induce a decrease in pancreatic lipase and reduce the incidence of life-threatening pancreatitis in patients with chronic pancreatitis.END>
