Product Information
ML241 hydrochloride is a highly selective and potent inhibitor of the growth factor receptor tyrosine kinase, vascular endothelial growth factor receptor (VEGFR) 2. It blocks the activation of VEGFR2, which is a key molecule in tumor angiogenesis. ML241 hydrochloride has been shown to inhibit tumor growth in vivo and to reduce tumor size in urothelial cancer models. This drug also has antiapoptotic properties that are mediated by the inhibition of pro-apoptotic genes such as Bax and caspase-3. The use of ML241 hydrochloride for bladder cancer resection may be limited due to its serum levels, which can be affected by liver function.
