Product Information
SLV-2436 is a small molecule that has been shown to inhibit the PD-L1 protein and is currently being studied for use in cancer treatment. SLV-2436 is an inhibitor of pd-l1, which is an immune checkpoint protein that binds to the B7 family of costimulatory molecules. The interaction of these two proteins inhibits T cell proliferation and activation. SLV-2436 was shown to potentiate tumor regression in mouse models of melanoma, colon carcinoma, and sarcoma. It also showed potent inhibition against hyperproliferative diseases such as rheumatoid arthritis and multiple sclerosis. In addition, SLV-2436 has been shown to have myeloid derived suppressor activity in vitro and may be useful as a conditioning agent prior to bone marrow transplantation or as an adjuvant therapy for other hematologic malignancies.
