Product Information

Name:
CXCR3 antagonist 6C
Description:

CXCR3 antagonist 6C is an active analogue of the natural compound coumarin. It has been shown to inhibit the proliferation and growth of colon cancer cells by blocking the signalling pathway that triggers a series of intracellular events that lead to cell death. CXCR3 antagonist 6C has also been shown to be effective against breast cancer cells in vitro, as well as leukemia cells in vitro. This compound has a number of metabolic effects, including lowering cholesterol levels and reducing insulin resistance. CXCR3 antagonist 6C also has anti-inflammatory properties, which may be due to its ability to reduce the production of pro-inflammatory cytokines such as IL-1β and TNF-α in vitro.
