(2R)-N-[4-[2-[(4-Morpholin-4-ylphenyl)amino]pyrimidin-4-yl]phenyl]pyrrolidine-2-carboxamide is a potent and selective oxytocin receptor antagonist. It has been shown to be effective in the treatment of chronic bronchitis, but not asthma. The stereoselectivity of this drug is due to the presence of a hydroxyl group at the 2 position on the pyrrolidine ring, which may lead to better oral bioavailability. This drug has shown high affinity for the oxytocin receptor and has been shown to have a safety profile that is similar to other drugs in its class.
