Product Information
BMS-911543 is a tyrosine kinase inhibitor that is used to treat leukemia. It has been shown to inhibit the activity of JAK2 and KIT, which are enzymes that play an important role in the development of cancer cells. BMS-911543 has also been shown to have antimicrobial properties against infectious diseases such as HIV and tuberculosis. This drug binds to the phosphorylated form of protein tyrosine kinases and inhibits their activity by preventing the formation of complexes with downstream effector proteins, which leads to inhibition of cell proliferation and cell death. BMS-911543 has been shown to be active in vivo and in vitro model systems, but it is not active against platelets.
