Product Information
ML241 is a small molecule that binds to the ubiquitin proteasome and inhibits its activity. This action may lead to the accumulation of damaged proteins in cells, which are then degraded by autophagy. ML241 has been shown to induce apoptosis in cancer cells, including colorectal carcinoma and cervical cancer cells. It also shows potent anticancer activity against prostate cancer cell lines and melanoma cell lines. In addition, ML241 is effective in drug repositioning as it inhibits the bromodomain protein BRD4, which is involved in tumorigenesis and metastasis.
