2’-Oxo tadalafil is an inhibitor of the enzyme PDE5, which is involved in the degradation of cGMP. It has a molecular weight of 289.37 and a chemical formula of C19H21N3O2. 2’-Oxo tadalafil has been shown to be a potent activator of the receptor for phosphodiesterase type 5 (PDE5) and to inhibit the degradation of cyclic guanosine monophosphate (cGMP). It can also be used as a research tool for studying protein interactions, such as ligand binding or receptor activation. The purity of this compound is high, with no detectable impurities by HPLC or LC/MS. 2’-Oxo tadalafil is soluble in water and methanol, but insoluble in ether or chloroform.
