Product Information
Mutant EGFR inhibitor is a pyrimidine compound that inhibits the epidermal growth factor receptor (EGFR) by binding to the ATP-binding site. It has been shown to inhibit cellular proliferation in vitro, and has been tested in clinical pharmacology studies. Mutant EGFR inhibitor selectively inhibits the kinase domain of the mutant EGFR protein, while having no effect on the wild-type form of the protein. This drug is used for treating cancer patients with tumors that contain a mutation in their EGFR genes. It is also being investigated as a treatment for other types of cancer, including prostate cancer and non-small cell lung cancer.
