Product Information
CD 3254 is a molecule that inhibits the CDK5/p25 protein kinase, which is responsible for regulating RNA replication. CD 3254 has been shown to inhibit the growth of human skin cancer cells and also inhibits tumor angiogenesis by blocking VEGF signaling. CD 3254 has no effect on hepatocyte-like cells, suggesting it may be useful in treating cancers such as hepatocellular carcinoma and colorectal cancer. This molecule has no effect on cell culture models of atherosclerosis or X-linked adrenoleukodystrophy (X-ALD).
