Product Information
CRH is a corticotropin-releasing hormone that regulates the release of ACTH from the anterior pituitary gland and cortisol from the adrenal cortex in response to stress. CRH gene product is involved in the regulation of normalize, phenotype, and genotype. CRH has been shown to be effective in treating congenital hyperactivity (CH) by normalizing both phenotype and genotype. It also has an effect on polymorphism, which may be due to its ability to regulate 17-hydroxyprogesterone levels. The mechanism of CRH action is not yet known, but it may work by binding to specific receptors on cells and triggering a series of intracellular changes.
