Product Information
AZD1208 hydrochloride is a potent and selective inhibitor of the Kv1.3 voltage-gated potassium channel. The inhibition of this channel leads to increased neuronal excitability in mice, which can be reversed by removing the drug from the system. This compound has been shown to activate the Kv1.2 voltage-gated potassium channel, but not other channels such as Kv1.4, Kv1.5, or Kv4.2 channels. It has also been shown to inhibit the binding of peptides and proteins to receptors with high affinity and specificity for both ligand and receptor interactions, making it an ideal research tool for studying protein interactions in cells.br>
AZD1208 hydrochloride is a white crystalline powder that is soluble in DMSO, ethanol, methanol, acetone and dimethylformamide; slightly soluble in water; insoluble in hexane and ether.br>br>
