Product Information
R-10015 is a small molecule that binds to the chemokine receptor CXCR4, which is expressed on the surface of cells. It has been shown to be effective in treating chronic viral diseases such as HIV infection and herpes simplex virus, and also some cancers. R-10015 has been found to inhibit the growth of cancer cells by blocking their ability to use the coreceptor CXCR4 for entry into CD4+ T lymphocytes. This prevents the spread of cancerous cells and may lead to an increased survival rate in patients with cancer.
