JNJ-632 also prevents the spread of infection to other cells by blocking viral entry into cells. This drug has been effective against both genotype 1 and 2, which are prevalent in North America and Europe respectively. The safety profile of JNJ-632 is acceptable, with few adverse events reported in clinical development studies. The most common side effects were nausea, headache, fatigue, and diarrhea.
