Product Information

Name:
T-448
Description:

T-448 is a histone deacetylase inhibitor that has been shown to reverse the hypofunction of the nervous system in animal models. T-448 has also been shown to have a safety profile and to be effective against thrombocytopenia, which is a decrease in platelets caused by the destruction of platelets or the inhibition of platelet production. T-448 interacts with flavin mononucleotide (FMN) and is able to inhibit erythroblasts from forming red blood cells. It also increases the expression of growth factors in the nervous system, which may help in reversing neurodevelopmental disorders. T-448 has also been shown to have a low potential for tumorigenicity in animal models because it does not interfere with DNA replication or cause mutations.
