Product Information
TUG-1375 is a synthetic fatty acid that has been shown to inhibit the growth of tumor cells in many different types of cancer, including breast, prostate, and colon cancers. TUG-1375 binds to epidermal growth factor receptor (EGFR) and inhibits the activity of EGFR tyrosine kinase. This prevents the activation of downstream signaling pathways that are required for cell proliferation and survival, leading to a decrease in tumor size. TUG-1375 also has been shown to reduce inflammation in experimental colitis models by inhibiting the production of inflammatory mediators.
