Description:

Azasetron is a drug that belongs to the group of peptides. It is an inhibitor of the serotonin 5-hydroxytryptamine 3 (5-HT3) receptor, which is involved in nausea and vomiting. Azasetron has been shown to be a potent inhibitor of protein interactions, specifically with the 5-HT3 receptor. Azasetron also has been shown to activate the serotonin 5-HT2A receptor, which may contribute to its side effects such as hallucinations and agitation.
