Roflumilast-d4 is a potent, selective, and specific activator of the type 2 phosphodiesterase (PDE2) enzyme. It has high purity, with a chemical purity of >98% as determined by HPLC analysis. Roflumilast-d4 is used as a research tool in cell biology and cell signaling studies. It binds to PDE2 selectively with an IC50 value of 0.1 nM, making it 1000 times more potent than roflumilast. It also has a long half-life in rat plasma at 7 hours and can be used as an inhibitor for PDE2 in biochemical assays.
