Product Information
BAY 826 is a potent, selective and competitive inhibitor of the human nicotinic acetylcholine receptor (nAChR). BAY 826 binds to the ligand-binding site of the nAChR and inhibits agonist binding. This inhibition prevents activation of the nAChR, thereby preventing depolarization of the membrane. BAY 826 has been shown to inhibit tumor growth in mice without inducing significant toxicity.
