Product Information
Selonsertib is a small molecule that inhibits the serine/threonine kinase RSK2. It has been shown to inhibit the proliferation of cells and induce cell death in vitro. Selonsertib selectively binds to the ATP-binding site of RSK2, which is essential for its function as a protein kinase, and prevents it from phosphorylating other proteins on threonine and serine residues. Selonsertib also inhibits the activity of TGF-β1, a cytokine that can cause tumor growth.
