Product Information
3-(4-Oxo-1H-quinazolin-2-yl)-N-[(1S)-1-phenylethyl]propanamide is a potent and selective inhibitor of the ATP binding site on the human P2X receptor. It does not inhibit other ion channels, such as sodium or potassium channels, or ligand binding to receptors, such as acetylcholine. 3-(4-Oxo-1H-quinazolin-2-yl)-N-[(1S)-1-phenylethyl]propanamide is a ligand that binds to the P2X receptor. This protein activates the receptor by increasing its affinity for ATP and opening the channel to allow passage of ions.
In addition, 3-(4-Oxo-1H-quinazolin-2y)N-[(1S)-1phenylethyl]propanamide inhibits peptide binding to cell surface receptors and blocks antibody binding to cell
