Ceapin-A7 is a peptide that is a potent activator of the TRPM8 channel. It activates TRPM8 by binding to the extracellular domain of the receptor, which causes a conformational change in the protein that opens the channel. Ceapin-A7 has been shown to inhibit cell proliferation, induce apoptosis and chemosensitization in tumor cells. Ceapin-A7 can also be used as a research tool for studying protein interactions and ligand-receptor interactions.
