Description:
Glesatinib hydrochloride is a potent and selective small-molecule inhibitor of the human epidermal growth factor receptor 2 (HER2) with IC50 of 0.6 nM. It blocks activation of HER2 by binding to the intracellular domain and inhibiting ligand-induced HER2 signaling, which leads to inhibition of tumor growth. Glesatinib hydrochloride has also been shown to inhibit cell proliferation in vitro and tumor growth in vivo.
