Dxd is a monoclonal antibody that binds to the epidermal growth factor receptor (EGFR), which is a receptor tyrosine kinase. It inhibits the proliferation of cancer cells by preventing the binding of epidermal growth factor, which is a potent mitogenic factor. Dxd has been shown to be effective in treating epithelial tumors and can also be used for patients with metabolic disorders such as diabetes mellitus. This drug has shown potent antitumor activity in tumor xenografts and may have therapeutic potential against solid tumors.
