It inhibits the innate antiviral function of TRIM21 by preventing antibody neutralization of adenovirus 5 (Adv5). Additionally, MRC37 can inhibit the Trim-Away technique, a targeted protein degradation method that recruits TRIM21 to specific proteins via electroporated antibodies.
