Product Information
Name:Flusulfamide
Brand:Targetmol
Description:Flusulfamide is a sulfonamide fungicide that effectively inhibits the germination of resting spores of the pathogen (Plasmodiophora brassicae) responsible for clubroot in cruciferous plants. It blocks the development of resting spores from stage 1 to stage 2 by down-regulating germination-related genes and up-regulating susceptibility genes (such as PbCyp3), leading to abnormal accumulation of PbCYP3 protein. This causes the spores to exhaust their energy in a state of continuous energy consumption without successful germination, thus reducing their infective capability. Initially, Flusulfamide application decreases soil ATP levels, but soil microbial biomass gradually recovers after three days. Flusulfamide is widely used in research for the control of clubroot disease.
